About the role

We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Duty Manager – Events to join our team at the Verwood Hub. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone with a passion for live entertainment and film, who’s keen to shape our growing events and cinema programme.

You’ll take the lead on attracting and delivering a varied programme of shows and screenings, working closely with promoters and suppliers to bring fresh, engaging content to the Hub. You’ll also oversee marketing activity to promote events across a range of platforms, helping to grow audiences and maximise attendance.

As Duty Manager, you’ll take operational responsibility during shifts, managing a small team and ensuring the building runs smoothly. You’ll need strong event management experience, including supervising teams and managing technical aspects of events. A confident, proactive approach and the ability to build positive relationships are essential.

This role is based at the Verwood Hub, with some travel to occasional meetings. An enhanced DBS is required.
