About the role

Allenbourn Middle School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, hard working and talented Year 5 and 6 class teacher to join our teaching staff in September 2025.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside our dedicated staff team and our ambitious Senior Leadership team teaching the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum.  

The successful candidate will teach in our excellent facilities alongside our well motivated children. Our broad curriculum is supported by subject specialist teaching and an excellent range of extra curricular opportunities.

Actual Salary £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (M1 to M6/ UP1 - UP3 )

This job is Full Time and is offered on a permanent basis.

Approximate start date 01-Sep-2025.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Keeping Children Safe in Education

The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
