About the role

The postholder will:
  • need to search and source alternative accommodation in the private sector for Ukrainian families leaving the national scheme. This will require the postholder to work closely with our Ukrainian Response Team.
  • negotiate with various landlords using the Key4Me scheme, working to reduce the need for temporary accommodation placements.
  • need to actively engage and work with the private rented sectors across Dorset to secure properties against a challenging backdrop within the private rented sector.
  • need to have an awareness of property compliance and safety and be willing to support landlords in making sure these aspects of renting are up to date.
  • also be required in assisting/guiding the landlord on the setting up of the tenancy agreement and inventory.
  • need to be flexible in addressing the needs of a large range of clients needing assistance. 
  • need to be able to support our other Landlord Liaison Officer when demand requires.

This is a full time role at 37 hours per week.

This role is fixed term until 31st March 2026.

This post requires significant travel. You must have a vehicle (or transport we deem suitable) available for use as needed.
