Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) at Milton on Stour CE VA Primary School

Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a permanent, part-time Midday Supervisory Assistant based at Milton on Stour CE VA Primary School. 

Hours: 7.5 hours per week, 11:45am to 1:15pm, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year, term time only, excluding TD days.

Salary: Dorset Grade 1, Point 2, £22,366 pro rata, per annum. Actual salary £3817 per annum

Required to start: As soon as possible

We are keen to hear from individuals who are patient, calm, organised and adaptable. Being able to work as part of a team is essential, as well as being able to use your own initiative. A positive outlook and a sense of humour is essential.

Duties will include the supervision of pupils, either in the lunch hall or other areas in the school, whilst they are eating lunch or taking part in lunchtime activities. Associated duties will include clearing and cleaning of dining hall and equipment including light manual handling.

The jobholder must demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This will involve undertaking annual Safeguard training and using school reporting systems for any Safeguard concerns.
