About the role

Role: Classroom Teaching Assistant / 1:1 Teaching Assistant

SchoolLytchett Matravers Primary School (LMPS)

Hours: 30 hours per week. Term time only. 8:40am to 3:40pm, Monday to Friday. Term time, 38 weeks plus 1 inset day

Salary: Grade 5, SCP 5 to 6. Actual £17,008 to £17,277 (£24,790 to £25,183 FTE)

Contract: Maternity cover for 2024 to 2025 academic year. Fixed term ends 31 August 2025

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced teaching assistant to join our support staff at Lytchett Matravers Primary School, part of Hamwic Education Trust (HET).

Our school wishes to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and outstanding Teaching Assistant to supervise the activities of pupils in the classroom and during break times. The overall duties, 1:1 or class based, would be dependent on the dynamic need of the school. This is a maternity cover position until the end of the academic year which is August 2025.

Lytchett Matravers Primary school is a Rights Respecting School, located in a rural village location and has been at the heart of the community for many years.
