ROLE: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

SCHOOL:  Hamworthy Primary Schools

HOURS: Term Time only (38 working weeks per year)       

Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 3.15pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.(31.25 hours per week).

SALARY: Grade F (Spinal Point 12 – 17) £27,711 - £30,060 pro rata

Hourly Rate: £14.36 - £15.58

Actual Salary: from £19,570.06 per annum

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to join our friendly support staff team at Hamworthy Primary Schools.  You will need to be self-motivated and enjoy working with children, to encourage positive behaviour. The role will include provide teaching cover and release for PPA in the classroom across the Infant School.

• Will work effectively alongside & under the direction of, the Class teacher, Year Leader & SLT
• Has experience of working with children through the Primary (Infant) phase
• Has a good understanding of inclusion, being able to champion the most vulnerable
• Will deliver high quality lessons – planned by, or with, the teaching team, including for regular PPA sessions.
• Will be adaptable and flexible, providing cover for teacher absence.
• Enjoys contributing to a supportive, dynamic team.
