About the role

We are looking for six dynamic and newly qualified Social Workers in Adult Social Care. 

Full time ASYE positions available:

  • Bridport and West Dorset Learning Disability Community team
  • North Dorset Learning Disability Community team
  • Peripatetic Team – flexibly working across teams
  • East Dorset Locality Team
  • Weymouth Locality Team 
  • Dorchester & West Locality Team

Interviews will take place on 4th and 5th March 2025 at County Hall in Dorchester, Dorset.

What you can expect to be doing:

You will be undertaking strengths-based assessments, support planning and reviews to support customers to achieve their outcomes and promote their independence. 

You will be working as part of a busy team and alongside other teams within the local authority.  

Multi-disciplinary practice will be integral to the role.  

 

About you:

You must have a degree or equivalent in social work and be registered with Social Work England, with the ability to fulfil the travel requirements of this position and a full valid UK driving licence.

Please note that we cannot accept an International or a Provisional driving licence, and applicants must have use of their own appropriate vehicle. This role is UK based and we will need to establish your Right to Work in the UK as part of the appointment process. Relocation allowances and expenses are not available for these roles.
