Seasonal Assistant Ranger

12 month contract

 37 hours per week

Salary:£19,698 - £20,903

 

Summary 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join the Ranger team at Moors Valley Country Park. 

What you will be doing 

You will be involved in all aspects of running this busy country park. The position involves leading environmental education and events for children and families, delivering high level visitor services, practical habitat management, daily litter picking and play inspections.

About you  

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in a country park or similar, experience of working with children, good practical skills but overall have the ability to communicate with people and work in a busy, thriving team.

This post will involve working 37hrs per week to include regular weekends and evenings. You must be willing to wear a uniform and work during school holidays.
