Advert User Adoption Officer

Fixed term 1 year

Are you passionate about helping drive adoption of Microsoft 365?  Do you ignite that same drive in your colleagues, by showing them how they can work smarter?  If that’s you, then we have an exciting opportunity for a user adoption specialist to join our award-winning Digital team.

 

At Dorset Council, we believe that engaged employees are happier, more productive employees and you’ll become part of a team on our journey to successful collaborative working.  You’ll be working alongside our Service Design & User Adoption manager and team of Service Designers, Content Designers and Business Partners.   

 

You’ll be:

  • Helping support our Digital Champions and business teams to move and organise their documents from network storage locations to Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies
  • Knowledgeable of applying metadata, tagging and retention schedules and creating folder structures in SharePoint
  • Supporting users in the move of our documents to OneDrive
  • Driving engagement on other Microsoft applications through convincing and persuasive messaging, to improve ways of working and keeping dispersed teams connected.
  • A people person – an understanding of what makes people tick at work will be your guiding compass.
  • A team player – collaboration with your colleagues accomplish our goals
  • A great problem solver – use your knowledge to find answers to pressing problems and formulate workable solutions
