Administrative Assistant (Internal Applicants Only)

Casual positions avaliable

Dorchester, Dorset

Our Housing service would like your help. We are currently working on an exciting project to implement our new housing software and housing allocation policy.

We are working with over 6000 Dorset residents who have been offered the opportunity to re-register their interest in social housing and apply to our housing register.

What you will be doing

We are currently looking for extra colleagues to help with some general administration work to support the main housing team who are busy assessing these applications.

About you

We are looking for people who are computer literate and could perform some simple tasks such as searching a data base, follow a process to lift documents onto a new system and carrying out routine digital processes to send a communication to customers where required.

We are working remotely but will provide training and daily support via Teams. We are a small team and would be pleased to welcome you for a period of 9 weeks ideally.

Additional Information

We are hoping to recruit enough colleagues to provide up to a total of approx. 3 FTE hours per week of support to this project and welcome anyone who can offer some part time hours each week starting immediately. We are flexible and will be happy to talk to you if you think you might be able to help but will be looking for a minimum of 5 hours per week each person. If you think you might be interested please contact Sian on sian.smith@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk
